Mission ‘Anthropos’ is a non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2020 providing medical and pharmaceutical care to vulnerable individuals and groups who enjoy limited access to health services. Throughout its 10 years of operation, the organization has carried out 56 missions, 4 of which in Africa, activities and Programmes, benefitting approximately 14.067 individuals in collaboration with 193 actors. Through the valuable contribution of 629 volunteers, a total 23.036 medical services and 9.810 items have been offered to vulnerable groups.
“We Support – Medical Care for All” Programme
Mission Anthropos implements, among other, the Programme “We Support-Medical Care for All’, which provides individualized medical and pharmaceutical coverage to children from vulnerable groups with reduced access to the National Health System whose families cannot, for financial reasons, cover their medical expenses. Amongst the requests received by Mission Anthropos through collaborative actors such as NGOs, social services and Hospitals, many constitute urgent medical tests and medication, not only essential for the improvement of the children’s quality of life, but oftentimes lifesaving. In 2021, MATILDA Foundation will be supporting Mission Anthropos in continuing this programme by funding its operational and associated administrative costs for one year.
